Introduction:

The full form of Non Veg is non vegetarian. Along with vegetarian food there is a must for human being to consume Non Veg food. Because a non veg food has special nutrients. Specially the red meet is good for health because it contains more proteins. It has nutrients like iron, selenium, zinc, folic acid etc. All these nutrients are very helpful in the formation of blood. This is the reason that we should eat non veg.Mutton biryani, chilli chicken, butter chicken are popular non vegetarian food items.

There are different types of people:

1) Vegetarians eat only veg diet like vegetables, grains, cerials, fruits etc.

People believe that egg is a Non Veg food because it originates from a non living thing. But actually egg is a vegetarian food as it does not contain the flesh of the bird.

Vegetarians eat mushrooms as mushrooms are vegetables.

2)Non Vegetarians: the people who eat non veg food are called non vegetarians.They are present in majority in the whole world compared to vegetarians.

The scientific name of non vegetarian people are omnivorous.

The people who eat the flesh of organisms such as goats, hen, fish etc are called Non Vegetarians.

To eat these foods they should go for non veg restaurants.We get different non veg dishes in restaurants.

The non veg items have different methods to be prepared. A set of steps to be followed to prepare a particular dish is called a recipe.

The different 13 non vegetarian food items are:

1) Butter chicken:

Butter chicken is a tasty gravy made out of chicken. The person who invented butter chicken is Mr Kundan Lal Gujarat. This chicken gravy is one of the best non vegetarian dish.

The butter chicken tastes very good specially with rumali roti.

There are several methods to make this non veg dish.

1)Firstly, phone list chicken pieces are watched and marinated in curd with sprinkles of different spices.

2)It is marinated for 5 hours to make the chicken pieces soft and tasty.

3)After 5 hours this chicken is deep fried and kept aside in a different container.

4)Then a gravy is made by slide cooking a mixture of cut tomatoes, Kashmiri Red mirchi, spices, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, fenugreek and kasuri methi.

5)The half cooked mixture of tomatoes is put in a mixie jar along with fried onions and milk cream to make a paste.

5)Then remove the paste in a bowl and put the fried chicken pieces and decorate it with cut coriander leaves.

6)Now butter chicken is ready to eat. You can serve it with thin rumali rotis.

2) Laal maas:

Lal mass is a very delicious non veg dish. This is blood red in colour and is made up of mixture of special mathania Red chillies, onion, mustard oil, curd, garlic, salt and water. It can be eaten with phulkas, plain rice or khushka.

Non veg restaurants hire special cooks to make this type of non vegetarian food.

3) Chicken 65:

Chicken 65 was created in the year 1965 by Buhari restaurant. Hotel Buhari of Chennai is a non veg restaurant

Here I will give you the steps to prepare chicken 65.

1)Firstly take 600 grams of boneless chicken, cut into small pieces.

2)Add all spices like half teaspoon garam masala, 2/4th teaspoon coriander powder and quarter teaspoon cumin powder to chicken pieces and mix.

3)Then add ginger garlic paste, four tablespoon curd, one teaspoon lemon juice in the mixture of chicken cubes and mix well.

4)Let the mixture for few hours be marinated.

5)Then add four tablespoon corn flour and two tablespoon rice flour and mix well. Candy fry the chicken cubes in a pan.

6)Then fry some curry leaves, green chillies , sauce and stir well.

7)Then put all the fried chicken in the sauce pan and stir well.

8)Your chicken 65 is ready to eat. It is one of the best non vegetarian foods.

4) mutton biryani:

Mutton biryani is one of the famous non veg item which is made worldwide. This non veg dish is made on every occasion of Eid.

Mutton biryani is made by several methods. Some make it in cooker and others in a big utensil. Moreover making biryani in a cooker is dam easier.

Mutton biryani is the best non veg food. Dum biryani is made by slow cooking process in the clay pot. The slower it is cooked, the tastier it is made.

Here here I will share you the recipe of kacchi mutton biryani

1)Firstly, sliced 6 to 7 onions of fried in a utensil till brown. In it green chillies (10 to 12), garam masala, elaichi 2, are fried together with sliced onion. Then add chilli and turmeric powder and stir well.

2)Add garlic ginger paste and mix well.

3)Then put watched mutton pieces in the mixture of onion and fry well. Then put cut tomatoes (5-6) and cookwell till the tomatoes are cooked. Then put cut coriander and mint leaves. Put curd 1 cup and mix well

3)Close the lid and open after 4 to 5 whistles. After opening the lid, check whether the mutton is soft to bite.

4)Then put washed and soaked rice on that mixture. Then put water in the cooker. (Remember for 3 glasses of rice put same quantity of water).

5)Then add salt(3 teaspoons) in it and close the lid of the cooker.

6)Then cook in high flame and close the flame after two whistles. Let it rest for 15 minutes.

7)Open the lid and mix the whole Biryani upside down and vice versa.

So that had settled down will be mixed properly. Cook for 5 minutes in low flame, closing the lid.

Biryani is a non vegetarian dish which can be served with raita.

5) Kasuri mutton:

Kasuri mutton is a mouth watering food for non vegetarian people.

1)In this recipe mutton pieces are mixed with all spices, kasuri methi (2 table spoons), curd, ginger garlic paste and marinated up to 1 hour.

2)Then take another Pan and fry sliced onions(4) along with cardamom and garam masala.Fry the onion still brown.

3)Then at the attend mixture to this Friday onion and put red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and mix well.Then add water in it and stir well.

4)Close the lid till 5 whitles. Then open the lid and cook it for 5 minutes in low flame.

5)Delicious kasuri mutton is ready.

6)Mutton Phal:

Mutton Phal is a delicious Non Veg item.It is served in the marriages along with naan. This this is made in the houses very easily. Here are the following steps to make mutton phal:

1)Firstly, we should mix coriander leave, ginger garlic pieces, green chillies, garam masala,Sliced onion(2 small) and how tomato in a mixture grinder and make fine paste.

2)Secondly, we should fry mutton pieces in a cooker in very less oil(2 table spoons)till brown.

3)Then put the green masala mixture and mix with mutton properly.put water in the cooker,stir well and close the lid.close the Flame after 5 to 10 whistles.

4)Now mutton phal ready to serve.

6) Chicken kabab:

Chicken kabab is a favourite dish of the most Non Veg people in India. Even if the Android is cooked in the house, chicken kabab along with it makes the dinner superb. This is the most wanted non vegetarian food in the marriages.

Here I will share a simple recipe of this non vegetarian dish

1)Firstly, boneless chicken cubes are mixed with corn flour, different spices, salt, egg,red chilli powder, coriander powder, lemon juice etc and kept for sometime.

2)After marination, the chicken cubes are fried deeply in the oil.

3)After frying, the chicken is removed from the oil and put in the tray. Then garnish those fried chicken with pieces of lemon, coriander leaves and sliced onion.

8)Fish chips:

The fish chips is both veg and Non Veg food item. It is a British food item which is made in there Non Veg restaurants.

Fish chips are made by following the following steps.

1)Firstly, take cornstarch, baking powder, Pepper powder, and mix well. Make a paste using water.

2)Then, dip the washed and dried fish pieces in the paste and deep fry. Then remove the deep fried fish in a tray.

3)Similarly follow the same steps for potatoes. Deep fry potato pieces and put aside in the same tray. Then sprinkle lemon juice and cut coriander.

4)Fish chips ready to serve with masala mayonnaise.

9) Chilli chicken:

Chilli chicken is a very spicy non veg item. It is a Indo-Chinese recipe. It is a very delicious food for non vegetarians.

1)It is made by mixing two teaspoon soya sauce, two teaspoon chilli sauce, salt and half teaspoon pepper powder in 300 grams of boneless chicken cubes.

2)For extra coating and corn starch and egg ,then mix well.

3)Then fry the coated chicken cubes till light brown.

4)Take another pan,fry chopped onions, ginger paste, chopped spring onion and sliced capsicum partially. So that the crunch is kept.

5)Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce and mix well. Add the fried chicken and mix well.

6)Chilli chicken is ready to serve.

10) kofta curry:

Kofta curry is an other Indian non veg item. This curry is made by mutton.

Here, is a simple recipe of kofta curry for non vegetarian people

1)To make a kofta curry ,firstly koftas are made and then slipped into separately made curry.

2)Small pieces of mutton, different spices, green chillies, coriander, paste, garam masala,chana dal, ginger paste and salt all together are mixed in mixture grinder and made a paste.

3)Small balls are made by using this mutton paste.

4)Then these balls are deep fried to be put in curry and served.

11) Mutton Korma:

This is an easily cooked non vegetarian dish at home by non vegetarians. I will share a simple recipe of mutton korma.

1)Firstly 2 to 3 sliced onions is fried in the cooker.

2) Then washed and dried mutton pieces our fried in oil containing fried onions.

2)Cut tomatoes, coriander leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste are added to the mutton mixture and stirred.

3)When when the tomatoes become soft quarter litre curd is added.

4)Put some water and close the lid of the cooker.

12)Fish fry :

Fish fry is one of spicy non veg item which is eaten by Indians.

Here I will share a recipe of this non vegetarian food.

1)Readymade fish masala is applied on fish pieces and fried.

2)It is served with cut lemon pieces, coriander and sliced onions.

13)palak gost:

Palak gost is a beautiful green mutton gravy. This non vegetarian food is made by using palak and mutton. This is a very healthy non veg dish. It is healthy because it contains greens as well as mutton.

Here, I will share you recipe of this non veg item.

1)All the ingredients of mutton curry are mixed with mutton and stirred well.

2)Then,palak paste is added to the mutton and water is added. Close the lid of the cooker and switch off the flame after 10 whistles.

3)Palak gost is a non veg dish which can be served with rotis.
